A native of Brooklyn, NY, founder Olisa Okoh has been the go-to person for her family and inner circle’s culinary needs since she was a teen. Olisa developed her passion for cooking and baking in the kitchen alongside her grandmother. “I can remember grandma making nightly dinners, desserts, and bringing the family together over food, love, and laughter”. Olisa would be so mesmerized by her grandmother’s ability to freestyle in the kitchen without a recipe or instructions in sight. She knew one day she wanted to be that good. She doesn’t think she knew then, but Grandma Gertrude (the G.O.A.T.) single-handedly inspired her to cook and bake professionally.
Motivated by her nurturing spirit, attention to detail, and exemplar organization skills, Olisa has honed in on her craft to deliver the best experience for her clients. She’s a fun loving person who isn’t afraid to tackle new challenges head on. When she’s not in the kitchen, whipping up the most delicious treats, by day Olisa uses her talents as a NICU nurse in the Philadelphia area.
